HEY GUYS!
I'm here in sunny Portugal and let me tell you this break is doing wonders for my muse. Just me, a book, my IPod and the sun and I'm as happy as a clam :) so expect good writings from me!
Not that this holiday has been totally mishap free! I mean come on! This is me, the totally clowinsh/accident prone Molly!
Firstly there's the ouchy sunburn paha! Nuff said. Actually it's calming down now. But then there was the embarrassing even two days ago where I dived into the pool and my bikini top decided to pop off in a very Barbara Windsor, carry-on-esque kind of way. But the pool was fairly deserted and I managed to cover myself up sharpish. I think I was just afraid some of the sunbathers had a rare Posidon-talents where they could see clearly through water. Hopefully not, eh?
Anyway, I'll keep you all updated :)

Hello guys! It's time to let all you hidden friends crawl outta the woodwork! I need a chance to speak to all you guys again! So here's that game again! Basically, the rules are:
  • Comment which song you know with the title :)
  • And add the artist if you know it.
  • Put your ITunes on shuffle and put the first line to the first 10 songs that come up!
But then again, you already knew the blasted rules! Here we go, guys!

1. It's a God awlful small affair, to the girl with the mousey hair. Life on Mars? by David Bowie. Guessed by [info]chuckney

2. We can fight our desires, but when we start making fires. In For the Kill by La Roux. Guessed by [info]kitty_bug

3. I've made up my mind, don't need to think it over Chasing Pavements by Adele. Guessed by [info]rainstar11

4. I swear, I swear I miss the times when you would tie me to a chair

5. I'm gonna be a mighty king, so enemies beware!-  Just Can't Wait to be King in the Lion King. Guessed by </a></b></a>[info]fofomazuzu

6. I can't sleep tonight, everybody's saying everything is alright. Why Does it Always Rain on Me, by Travis. Guessed by [info]sess_satan

7. I like them black girls, I like them white girls... The Girls by Calvin Harris. Guessed by [info]chuckney

8. How can I think I'm standing strong, yet feel the air beneath my feet?

9. When your day is long, and the night, the night is your alone. Everybody Hurts by REM. Guessed by [info]chuckney

10. Meet you downstairs in the bar and heard your rolled up sleeves in your skull t-shirt. You Know I'm No Good. Guessed by [info]kitty_bug

Just as the sweat was sticking my hair to my head and making my make-up run all the way down my face, I realised why I hate hate hate summer. It's tooooooooooo bloody hot! Plus I had to go to some induction day at my new sixth form wearing a suity suit! It was torture. God! But I have nearly two days until Portugal (yay!) so I'm a little excited. I need some time to sunbathe, sleep and just relax with my IPod around the pool :)
Good times.

Also, in other news I am falling in love with Mr Brittas :o)

SIMON AMSTELL! Whoo!

Simon Amstell
I saw the legend last night! I would have posted sooner only I've been shopping today so I haven't had time.
HE WAS AMARRZING!
and very, very hot! He was of course the last (but not least) act and I think everyone was there to see him :) My mate noticed him during the first act! Lol she hit me and was hissing "AMSTELL AMSTELL!" and he sort of sat in the corner of our row. I fought the urge to pounce, people! :) I was soo happy :) But I believe two high points of the night was when he said: I'm not an atheist...because I like to believe I am God in a way!
And his detailed account of kissing a boy. Mmm lol.

The whole night was great; the compare, whose name escapes me, but I shall post later, was just hilarious. And the venue, (Union Chapel, Islington), which is a church; yes we sat in pews haha; was really nice because the performers were able to sort of sit and talk to the audience. Twas lovely

:)

*EDIT: The compare is Daniel Kitson :) Great bloke.

When was the last time you stayed up all night? What were you doing?

Umm last Friday :) I went to a club in the 02 called Matter. It was a 9 to 5 thing so me and my mate caught a cab back to hers at 5. We didn't go to sleep till about 6 and even then I got up at like 9 lol. I wasn't very tired. Was a great night! So I got up at nine, went home, had a little sleep and then I was up that night until 4 the next morning! Sleepy times. And I had to get up for school the next day!
:)
Olivia Wilde
Heya!
Went to my leavers meal last night; twas good if not a little teensy bit awkward considering I wasn't talking to some people. But I don't think I have ever laughed so hard as with the people I was sitting with. Was hilarious. Not to mention teachers got considerably intoxicated; good times! And I sunk in the grass as I was wearing heels! Dear oh dear.
Plus as an extra bonus, Mr Glenister came on the radio on the way down there so I was like "shhh it's Gene!" to my mate lol. Has anyone else heard that kinda creepy advert?
Today I spent to majority of my morning pissing myself at the Brittas Empire. Mr Chris Barrie is simply a good among actors ;) Haha simply jokes. Also been pondering over some plot bunnies for A2A...keep an eye out.

In other news...

3 days until Simon Amstell

My one and only lover, of course. Also it's looking highly probable I might be getting tickets to Mock the Week. Am keeping everything crossed for that!

Lady Gaga
Well today has been a barrel of laughs. Note to reader: sarcasm. I've been superdooper bored. I should really have gone out and bought a shirt to go with some shiny shiny leggings for Friday, but meh. I've applied for some jobs (go me!) the most promising being Loch Fyne...like a posh fish restaurant. If that's the most promising, that's saying something ;) Basically today has been spent thinking about LoM and whether I should watch another episode, looking on Amazon for the cheapest deal I can get on Series 1 of A2A and Series 2 of LoM...so far it's around £8 for each set, sooo not too bad.

Friday I'm going to a club with some friends. Doubtless if I drink I will dance despite the fact I DETEST dancing because I am unable to co-ordinate my body to fit the music! Bad times, guys. Also I have a leavers meal on Tuesday which I am dreading because two of my closest mates aren't speaking to me. I really don't want to go but I've paid and I have a dress... funny how sometimes one little thing can spoil something I have been looking forward to...

butohwell on a lighter note...10 days till Simon Amstell. Yummy :) So what if he's gay...haha. Okay but me and my mate are going to glomp him (or smuff him)...one of the two :)

Am excited in convulsions with excitment!

Okay for ages my friends have been telling me how great Grey's Anatomy is. So I watched an episode (ok only one) and I told them the only one I found attractive is Doctor Shepherd aka McDreamy. I'd forgotten about him but today I caught a glimpse of this Mr Patrick Dempsey on Enchanted and woah-woah-woah.
Yummy Mr McDreamy!
What a dish!

YAY. I have finished with secondary school forever. Now that part of my life is over, I dunno where I can go from here. I'm a bit sad to be leaving, but there are a few people I really cannot wait to see the back of. I'm not gonna bore people, but I will share the delightful news that I have about three months off in which to muse and just do nothing :) So I hope to get back on with some writing, which i have missed soooo much during my time studying!

SO YAY! :)

Ashes to Ashes Fic :)
Gene and Alex

Title: Waking
Pairing: None really...bit of Galex

The bandages around her head made beads of sweat trickle down her brow. In the night, she’d try to rip them off, relieve the pressure of them as they pushed down on her skull. She’d kick the blankets off and claw desperately for air, knocking her machines to the floor as she screamed in her sleep. The doctors gave her medication through her intravenous drip to calm her, but she was still restless. She’d been found in the cafeteria the day she came around from her coma, sitting on the floor shaking, sweating as she pointed an accusing finger at the television set, screaming. She had smashed two heart monitoring machines on that day shouting, “He didn’t mean it” as she rampaged down the St Mary’s Hospital corridors, pleading for help.

Doctors said it was the bullet. They all said it had hit a section of the brain which controls the differentiation between dreams and reality. That she was merely hallucinating.

Alex closed her eyes as the nurse opened the curtain, a pool of sunlight bathing her pale skin, stemmed with wires and cannulas.

“I can close these if you want to get a bit of sleep. You were a bit restless last night, Alex.” The nurse said, pouring another glass of water into her cup. Alex shook her head and laid her head back on the pillow. “I’m okay, thank you.” The nurse nodded and left the room, touching Alex’s arm gently as she left.

Alex traced her finger along the blue and white wires snaking along her arm and let out a sigh. The TV crackled and fizzed to life and the all too familiar image of Gene came into focus. It was the fifth time today.

“Bolly, please. Just open your eyes, Bols, come on.” Gene whipped his head around and looked around for a second before looking back out of the screen, “Just tell ‘em I didn’t mean it. Tell ‘em I was trying to save yer.” Alex stared at him, his eyes looked as though they hadn’t had a wink of sleep. She leant forward and touched the screen, letting her fingers glide down the squeaky glass texture of his face, “Gene, I wish I could.”

“Coffee?” Ray gave Gene a small nudge and fumbled in his pocket for some change. Gene shook his head a moved his chair a little closer to Alex, who was tucked under the white and orange sheets, her face speckled with dirt as her hair lay matted across the pillow.

“I didn’t mean it, Ray.” He said as Ray collected the coins in his hand. Ray didn’t say a word, but simply nodded and left through the floral curtains. It was the type of nod that was done just to make you feel better. No feeling or truth behind it whatsoever.

Getting to his feet, Gene double checked to see if there were any nurses about as he pulled back the curtain. Ray rounded the corner into the lobby and the patient in the next bed stirred a little. Gene moved the chair back and placed his hands on Alex’s thin shoulders, shaking her limp body a little.

“Bolly, please.” He hissed, touching her face, “Just open your eyes, Bols come on.” There was a commotion from outside the cubicle and he turned, looking to see if anybody was coming in. The nurse outside shuffled past and he continued to talk to her, “Just tell ‘em I didn’t mean it. Tell ‘em I was trying to save yer.” He pleaded, his thumb drumming on her collarbone.

He let go of her and wiped a hand across his face, a slick film of sweat dripping past his nose. On the bed Alex twitched, her hand stretching. He felt his heart stop for a second, that split second of hope as she breathed heavily, as though she were about to say something. Gene tripped over the chair and held her outstretched hand, “Bols?”

“Gene.” Her voice was disjointed and so quiet it was almost a breath. He squeezed her hand, knowing she would wake up, “I wish I could.” Her hand went limp again and her breathing became like that of a deep sleep.

Happy birthday, Donald Duck! Which cartoon character do you think is the most disturbing?

View other answers

Any cartoon character from Iwerks. I watched Iwerks cartoons as a child and some of them gave me the idea that the Big Bad Wolf was kidnapping the little girl for another reason... Scary times.
Also Mr Burns in the Simpsons is a creep...

The Ashes to Ashes finale...simply unbelievable. Best bits include:
  • Jackanory!
  • The ending (but it made me cry)
  • "You've been Quattroed!"- Gene Hunt da man!
  • Ray eating a "sausage" ;)
  • Shaz and Chris...YAY!
  • Shaz in a wedding dress, beating the shizzle out of some guy!
There's plenty more...I'm watching the ep again to see what I missed!

Bonjour! I went to see Dirty Dancing yesterday :) Twas good as it goes, wish I could dance. But I can't dance one little bit. Anyway, was very good and I reccomend it, especially if you like the film! And Easter! Happy *belated* Easter everyone! How did everybody's long weekend go? I hope you didn't over engorge on chocolate eggs haha. We had my family over and we basically ate a big dinner, lots of chocolate, watched Wild Child and then played dares. We are so childish. There is nothing like watching a 16-year old girl and 35 and 40-year-old men cram 6 crackers in their mouths...what joy!

PS. Did I ever show you the pictures of a fancy dress party I went to in January? I've just found some which are quite hilarious!

Hey guys,
I am really sorry I haven't been on here in a while. School stuff (I lie). What's been up with me? Bit more than most times. I got into a sixth form nearer home, which I start in September (YAY!) and I'm planning to take English Lit/Lang, Drama, Media and Psychology :) NO MORE MATHS OR SCIENCE! What else...oh yeah, very topical, I saw Jade Goody's funeral procession. Okay, bit morbid, but was rather wierd that I was actually in (or nearby) a news story.
My mum won nearly 300 smackeroons on the Grand National as she picked the winner because it sounded like "My Mum". (The horse's name was Mon Mome and she chose it because the race was on her mum's birthday. So, good times!) Also she managed to see the G20 riots from her road. SWEET. My friend also saw Obama cos she lives near where the G20 meeting was.
Anyways that's all I can think of at the moment. Oh yes also:
I am rapidly morphing into Bridget Jones...YAY! Mark Darcy.
