A week before the sequel comes out, my friend finally urged me enough to watch Twilight. Even though I know this will spark mass teenagey controversy, I tried to read the book but I melted with brain mush because it was just awlful. Really, not my type of book, but I'm in the minority because I know most people love them. But then I watched the film and...
I LOVED IT.
Robert Pattinson is too peng for words ;) lol yum.
TWILIGHT Pictures, Images and Photos

Although Taylor Lautner looked a little sketchy, but I've seen a trailer for the second film and I think we can all freeze and say he looks hot! I thought the film was really arty and even though Bella annoyed the feck out of me, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I will probably go and see New Moon in the cinema soon :)
Plus what made last night so buff was that we gorged on chips, popcorn, crisps, chocolate and coke while we watched. Yes we were piggies, but we were happy little piggies ;)

And today I'm off to my friends house to practice for our upcoming Christmas concert thing. We're singing The Beatles, "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" so we really need to practice. It's really wierd because in my old school, because it was like nuns and conventy they made us sing hymns and such in the church at Christmas! But I liked that; made you appreciate what Christmas is all about. Plus that's my childhood memory of Christmas time lol.

Anyway tonight I'm off to Londonium to watch some fireworks and probably go for something to eat with my mates down along the river :) Good times.

What is your all-time favorite, romantic movie scene? What about it speaks to you?

View 1072 Answers

I love this film sooooooo much. I mean, snow? Mr Darcy? A kiss? *melts into puddle* What I wouldn't give! I've always dreamed of something like this (damn films) but it's just too perfect. I cried the first time I watched it because I severely hoped she'd get with Mr Darcy at the end (mostly because I wanted to get with him!) I would so run half naked down a snowy street to kiss Colin Firth, no questions asked.
The most perfect romantic moment ever!

But also on my list:
  • The Notebook: Noah and Allie kiss by the lake!
  • Love Actually: the bit where the pornstar people kiss! I just love it because they're so cute and both so timid! A stolen kiss is always special.
  • Sound of Music: Maria and Cpt Von Trapp first kiss. I was like wtf, she's a nun!
  • Sweet Revenge: Kate and John kiss: just because it's John Sessions kissing a girl. I know. Shockhorror! And sexy ;)

What are you going to be for Halloween this year? Are you going to wear coordinating costumes with a friend or partner? Did you buy something pre-fab or make it yourself?

As a girl who went to a Catholic primary school and secondary school it was always drummed into us that Halloween is evil and that as good Catholic children we would never dress up as evilness. So because of this I never did anything for Halloween and tbh it never bothered me that much. Plus I was always told it was too American lol. This year is going to be my first Halloween party and I'm not going as anything scary; I'm going as Robin Hood. It's more of a fancy dress than a scary thing.

Any ideas on how I can scarify my costume?

In other news I got Lady Gaga tickets today for her visit to the O2 next February :) I woke up at 9 this morning to be first in the queue but they sold out ages ago because the bastards give priority of O2 customers...grrr. But because I kept refreshing my page, I got dibs when they opened a new date for the day after!

CANNOT WAIT!

I think I just jizzed. I logged onto Twitter just for Mr Robert Llewellyn to put this on:

Series 10 of Red Dwarf announcement just been made at DJ 09. To clarify the scripts have been commissioned, wont be filming til 2010

I nearly had a heart attack with sheer joy. Oh yes the boys are coming back and I can't wait. I believe it'll be on Dave again! And I think it'll be a proper series this time. *major squee* :) I cannot wait! I think my icon explains how I feel ;)

In honour of my latest girl crush *insert squee here* I've spent today dawdling through PS making a small batch of icons from her recent performance at the MTV VMA bash. Her performance was amazing guys. She sings with lovely harmonies and just proper goes for it; you can tell she loves doing it! And boy is she gorgeous! :) Okay, so here are the batch!

There really is no need to credit or anything, just leave me a little comment if you like any and I'll be perfectly happy!

Hiya guys!

So I started sixth form last week and I'm having a great time. The novelty will probably wear off pretty soon, but for the moment I'm having a blast! I only went to my new school with one of my friends, but I'm so overly happy because I've already made some friends in a really lovely group! It's really nice!
Anyway, I'm supposed to be doing a monologue at the moment, but today I got to do a Lister monologue from Red Dwarf! And I pulled of the accent; RESULT!
There's 3 really great guys who are in a band and my dad has given the go ahead for them to record in our loft, which mon padre has been using as a mini-mini-recording studio as of late. So it's all good!

Sorry I've been a little lacking in the journal department, but I've been just getting used to everything at school. But it's going really well at the moment! As an apology I'm gonna do the ol' song meme which I adore! Please say hi :)

They really are. I downloaded the audiobook to the novel "Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers" by accident because I thought it was an episode, but in fact it's an audiobook. I didn't know Red Dwarf had books (yes I'm that slow). But anyway, Chris Barrie narrates and does all the voices, which is hilarious when it comes to Cat. "Raawwwwrrrr." Lol.
May I just take this opportunity to share my favourite line, which Chris delivers perfectly:
"Wake up you son of a bastards, bastards bastard!"- Rimmer. (Basically it was Rimmer screaming at Lister for snoring, because he can't touch him).
I went shopping today, so I met my mum at Liverpool Street and went to a really good New Look near Fenchurch Street. I got my hobnail boots!! They are so beautiful! I toyed with the idea of going to where they film Ashes, but I heard they don't film there anymore, so I decided to get some McDonald's chips and head home. Man I should have taken a detour because now I'm just slobbing about.
Anyways, tomorrow I start my new Sixth Form; SO EXCITED! Should be good...as long as I've got my audiobook to keep me company on the bus lol.

The Dave website has compiled a list of the "Top 10 Sexiest Stand-Up Comedians". But oh lord how I beg to differ. I have enough stand-
uppy knowledge to know who I find sexy so I've decided to compile my own list. :) First things first, here is the link to the Dave list:

Okay Sarah Silverman is gorgeous; cue girlcrush scream. Let's not deny it. But with me being more inclined to the male species, my list is pretty male centric. Drum roll please as I unveil Molly's Sexy Stand-Up Comedians Who are Sexier than Sex.

Well hello there! My mum was flicking through Sky Anytime a couple of days ago and I luckily managed to catch that they were showing this one-off, Easter Dave special on Anytime! I decided to give it a whirl, even though I haven't finished watching all the series yet. Frankly I didn't care for Red Dwarf when they showed this comeback mini-series at Easter so sorry this is like, months late! Enjoy!

Oh well, this weekend has been family time! OK, I exaggerate. My mum decided to invite some family around in "celebration" of my GCSE results and my cousin's birthday. Same old same old; food, laughter and karaoke. Because I got in a heap of trouble this week, my reward for passing is getting my hair done, although it is what I wanted! I really also need to get some holiday homework done this week; hello library! Anyway I saw this meme a while back, yet again from Fantasy Bubbles! I just thought I'd do it because I is bored.
These are 25 things about me which you may or may not know. :) Enjoy! I stole the first idea from fantasy_bubbles too!

My vile mood has gotten a little better since this morning as I have just scoured the magazine and found out there are 3 episodes of Red Dwarf on during the week. Whoo! However I stole this cool little meme from the ever great  [info]fantasy_bubbles
I also got my GCSE results this week! I was SO happy with them! I'm not a straight A student and there were no A* on my results but I was grateful I passed them all.
I just hated the people who were saying "ohh I did rubbish" and they get A's and A*'s. I was happy with my results but these people are just people who like to make everyone else feel useless about their results just so people can say they did amazingly well. I am not a fan.

I was watching Blackadder Goes Forth yesterday and it was the one where Flashheart crash lands on their trench. And it got me wondering. Who is the best? Ace Rimmer or Flashheart?
They're both arrogant, pompous pratts but we can't help but smile at them. Personally I think Flashheart has better lines, however there's something about Ace that makes me smile.

Anyone have any opinions on the subject?

Lets have a look at the evidence, shall we? )

What oft-repeated quote or common cliché do you find the most annoying when someone says it to you?

View 540 Answers

Oh lord there are loads of phrases that drive me absolutely doo-lally. My drama teacher used to be full of them. One of her all time worst was "it all boils down to" or "at the end of the day" and when you hear those two phrases during the space of a 2 hour rant they loose all meaning and piss you off.
I also hate the phrase "I've got a bone to pick with you" cos that always means you've been caught out and you're in for big trouble.

Like me at the moment.
